Alongside her vast knowledge and expertise, her genuine enjoyment of teaching and understanding of children's cognitive and emotional development resulted in acceleration of my child's English learning progress over a short period. We had moved from a country where formal schooling was yet to be introduced to grappling with the outcomes of Year 2. We had big gaps in reading and writing English, and Jenny's astute observations of my child's interests led to an enjoyable learning experience for my child. Her post-lesson feedback was invaluable. S is the best sort of teacher - committed, professional, caring, observant, creative. She is always punctual and well prepared with a class tailored to the individual. She is also very good company! I feel fortunate to have had her as a teacher.
Julie has tutored two of our daughters for their 11+ tests in verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning (including spatial reasoning) and maths. Julie provided them with solid techniques to enable them to answer questions quickly and carefully. Our daughters did very well in the Newstead Wood School test (one is there already in Year 9, and the other is waiting to hear if she has been awarded a place). Julie is friendly and kind; she never made the girls feel pressured or stressed when working. She is also reliable and punctual. She was an excellent tutor for our daughters.

Antonia was exceptional in tutoring my son. We had tried other tutors in the past but they were nowhere near as good as Antonia was. My son James went from a Grade 4 to a Grade 9 in just a few months of her support. Her lessons were engaging and clear and worked on exactly what James needed. Cannot recommend her enough.
This arrangement is much better that the group tuition at the tuition centre that we have been attending for the last few months. The girls are more focused and productive and it is easier practically having the tuition at our home.

Emilie has given my daughter Chemistry tuition for approximately 4 years, through both GCSE and A Level. She found ways of explaining which matched my daughter's learning style and if she didn't understand something the first time Emilie would explain it in a different way until it made sense. I would recommend Alistair to any parent looking to improve their child's performance in all areas. Sarah was the perfect match for my son. She has a depth of experience with primary-aged children and was gentle yet firm with my reluctant and sometimes emotional child. He had his ups and downs, but Sarah was able to coax the best out of him, and he has thrived with her help. Livvy had been attending a small group for 11 plus tuition for a few months, but this 1-1 teaching is a much better arrangement for her and we can see her making much more progress. We are impressed with Mrs D who demands a lot from her.

SG is providing a structured and well-planned curriculum, covering all of the essential topics and exam techniques needed to succeed in GCSE English Language and Literature. They are also provided regular revision tasks, practice papers, and feedback to help our son stay on track and prepare for the exams. We hope we haven't left it too late!
Neil made such a difference in our son's GCSEs. He supported our son in Maths and English; his approach was brilliant. My son engaged very well with Neal and really enjoyed the tuition classes. Initially, we were apprehensive since our son has ADD, has a big deficit in attention and concentration, and gets distracted very easily. Our concerns disappeared since day 1 of tuition with Neal. Has really frequent and helpful feedback regarding what we can do as parents to support during this process or any area we need to address. Our son was able to be successful in his Maths and English GCSE due to Neil's support. It also helped him with his self-esteem and motivation to study and give the best of his ability. Over the past term, we have been so impressed with Mr BS for his teaching and his polite and gentle manner - he put our daughter at ease from the first lesson, and she has looked forward to her lessons! He will be a tough act to follow.

Learning is all about discovering the right approach for your child. I cannot praise Robyn highly enough. Lily (14) has always shown a positive attitude toward her studies and already has a clear idea of her chosen career path. However, Robyn has elevated her learning to an entirely new level. Lily's results in her recent mock exams were outstanding, with her school already recognising and commenting on her success.
