About me

I am a qualified Social Sciences teacher with 6 years of classroom and Head of Department experience. I teach A-Level Sociology (AQA) and Economics (Edexcel & AQA), GCSE Citizenship, and Religious Education and History at KS3. I have also homeschooled students through A-Level Economics courses, AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, and iGCSE Religious Studies. I also have experience as an AQA Sociology examiner. I can support students with difficulties in understanding complex concepts by linking them back to the big picture and debates with the subjects, exam skills and requirements for short-answer and longer-answer essays and organising their revision timetables. I am currently working as a teacher in a selective grammar school one day a week and freelance tutoring and homeschooling students Tuesday-Friday with evening and daytime availability
