Reviews for SEN Tutors in Dyfed

Bethan is a considerate and professional tutor who goes above what is expected of her. She is recommended. Vicky U
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

My daughter has gained so much confidence since Bethan has been tutoring her. She comes away after each session learning something new, we are so very grateful to Bethan. Deborah
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

Drew taught our son, and we found him to be a highly sensitive, engaging and fun teacher. He took time to understand each of his strengths, interests and areas for development and built an excellent relationship with him. His creativity made the lessons engaging and fun. Drew provided one-to-one sessions for our son and established a great bond, providing encouragement and support and demonstrating a high level of emotional intelligence. He was always willing to discuss our concerns and invested time and energy into supporting and encouraging our son. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him. Mrs Annie Thmopsett
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

If you are looking for a fabulous teacher, then Drew is the person you are looking for. We were very lucky to have Drew teach our daughter across 2 different school years. He has a real skill in understanding the needs of each of his students and tailoring their learning accordingly whilst stretching the children to learn and making it fun. Nothing was ever a problem for Drew ... he always took the time to listen to any concerns I had and those of his pupils and help overcome any issues. Drew has also run a holiday activity course which was hugely popular with the pupils. I absolutely recommend Drew as a fantastic teacher. Mrs Lisa Wright
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

I would highly recommend Agata as a psychology tutor. She is currently teaching my son, who is in Year 12 and will be sitting the OCR exams. We tried finding an OCR tutor, which was not easy as this is not a commonly taught board. When we finally managed to find Agata, we were impressed not only at the fact that she is an OCR examiner but also at her delivery of lessons, which has given my son so much confidence and led him to get top marks in his assessments consistently. This has spurred him on to aim for an A star, which really is down to Agata. She goes through the content, linking other topics, which allows for re-revsiing of previous topics, with plenty of exam practice. In addition to this, Agata comes across as a very caring tutor. It is obvious she has a passion for teaching her subject, which is infectious. My son loves psychology, as he recently told me, it is his favourite A-Level! Mrs Awan

Paolo really helped my daughter who is 10 and provided lots of useful tips for me too. Zoie John
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

Paolo quickly made connections with my 7-year-old, who can refuse help. He gave me lots of advice that actually worked. Giulia
SEN Tuition in Dyfed

Jess is absolutely brilliant at what she does. She has been tutoring our daughter for a year, and the difference is remarkable! Having the 1-1 sessions enables our daughter to be stretched as Jess can access all levels of the curriculum instead of just being dictated to by year of school. Jess can focus on ability. Our daughter counts down the days until she has her time with Jess, and over dinner can't wait to tell us what Jess has taught her! 100% would recommend as Jess is an investment in your child's future. Location
Home Tuition: Involves a SEN tutor coming to your home in Dyfed to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the SEN tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the SEN tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the SEN tutor is required to travel to your home, in Dyfed. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your SEN tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your SEN tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of SEN tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group SEN tuition in Dyfed depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
