Finding Hayley to work with my 14-year-old son, who has dyslexia and a lack of confidence in English, has been a godsend. Hayley's warm, approachable, supportive and encouraging style has helped him open up and stay engaged throughout the lesson, enjoying the learning and, most importantly, leaving each lesson feeling more and more confident and that this is "doable" and that he's not hopeless after all! On the contrary, he has some excellent things to contribute and can do well, whereas in the past, English was pretty hopeless and a long-standing aversion for him. He tells me his lessons with Hayley are "really helping," and when I ask him how, he says she does a really good job of explaining things to him, and he can understand things much better. Seven lessons on, and the improvements and learnings are showing signs of sticking. I have every confidence in her skills and ability and would recommend her unreservedly.

Libby began giving our son extra tutoring in Y11 and for approximately one academic year. Though this was an hour of extra tuition once a week, mainly during term time, our son found it very useful as this helped him improve from the region of grade 4s/5s in Y10 to 7-9s in Y11. It was very helpful in improving specific aspects of the subject which required more help. It also improved his confidence in the subject. The lessons were online, but our son found them to be similar in quality to in-person lessons. There was a range of activities, resources, and homework. Libby came across as very organised, evident in term dates and times provided ahead of time and lesson plans for the lessons. She was also professional. I also received feeback, some by request and others from Libby's initiative. All in all, I would recommend Libby as a good French tutor if you're looking for tutoring for your child.
Ashley is a fabulous teacher and has supported our daughter in her recovery from a low point when both her health and learning suffered. She is caring, patient and supportive, and our daughter has bounced positively from her lows and Ashley has played a big part in her recovery.

I worked with Alice to homeschool my daughter in London to prepare her for Year 5. She supported my daughter in all her subjects and provided a very positive learning experience, which also included field trip learning experiences that were immersive and engaging. My daughter needed help with revisions in her various subjects and Alice provided a lesson plan and worked through a variety of subject matter to support her learning activities. Learning was practical with a lot of working examples using a very supportive teaching style. I intend to continue to work with Alice to prepare for the next level in educational support and tutoring for my daughter.
Marion has been tutoring three of my children: my son, who achieved top marks for GCSE, and my daughter, who also achieved top grades for her A-level German. At the moment, Marion is tutoring my youngest son for German GCSE. Marion is very competent in German. She has a lot of patience and a good sense of humour. During year 5, we noticed that our daughter was struggling with her English studies and had some knowledge gaps that could have prevented her from passing the 11+ Kent Test. We came across Charlotte as a tutor who quickly assessed our daughter's English knowledge against the syllabus and was able to come up with a plan for tutoring one evening a week for a few months leading up to the Kent test. Our daughter enjoyed the tutoring from Charlotte and improved significantly to go on to pass the English aspect of the test, which we don't think would have been possible without the additional support from Charlotte. We highly recommend Charlotte as a tutor; our daughter enjoyed her tutoring sessions and methods and improved her confidence levels in the subject and we would not hesitate to use her again for our other children should they require it.

P is tutoring my daughter for A-Level Maths (6 weeks and counting). My daughter's feedback has been very positive; they are working through the curriculum, with P explaining sections, working through examples in the sessions, and then setting homework to check understanding at the following session. My daughter's confidence and understanding have significantly improved; she says she has a much better grasp of the subject areas, on which she can now build further as the year progresses. Mark is helping my son with his A-level Physics. His help has been invaluable. He knows the material inside and out, and as a professional teacher, he knows how to consolidate and extend knowledge. He has put my son on a path to a much better understanding of Physics (and predicted an A*).

He breaks down problem-solving into step-by-step frameworks, and his knack for simplifying calculus-based questions has our son tackling past papers with newfound precision. We appreciate how he incorporates university-level insights like recent astrophysics discoveries, to spark curiosity beyond the syllabus. This isn't just tutoring, it is creating a love for physics!

We were so relieved to find Bruce as he is one of very few tutors to have experience of the Eduqas exam board for A level Biology. Bruce is clearly very experienced and has a large online library of resources and exam questions that he has collected and devised and would send out weekly for my daughter to complete. Bruce was also hugely helpful when my daughter was completing her UCAS form and gave great feedback for her personal statement. I'm sure this contributed to the unconditional offers that she got which meant in the end she didn't need to re-take her Biology A level.
We are pleased with this group arrangement to provide that extra support and polish for our ambitious children. After two lessons, the feedback is positive, and our daughters already think very highly of Mr DT, who is experienced, organised and demanding.

Finding Colin was an absolute godsend for us. We decided to try again with one-on-one tuition for my son's entrance exam, and from the word go Colin made us feel the little time we had remaining, 4 months approx, wasn't an issue at all. His relaxed, calm and stress-free manner really filled my son with confidence. The homework he gave was never too much, but it was of a nature which really stretched my son. This paid off in dividends though as he passed the test with flying colours. Honestly can't recommend Colin enough!
We formed an 11+ group for our three bright daughters. Their tutor, Annabell, was first-class. She is organised, knowledgeable and inspiring. The girls love the session and it is definitely a win-win at £22 per hour

My daughter became very worried about her year 6 maths SATs after performing badly in some tests. We have seen a huge improvement in her aptitude and confidence since she started weekly sessions with Mr F. She finds him fun and enjoys the lessons. She likes being able to contact him independently when she finds a topic she would like help with. My husband and I are astounded to see how well she engages and how much effort she puts in! We like the way that multiple topics are covered every session, as this identifies areas for extra help and makes sure that all the knowledge stays fresh.
