Study Skills Tuition in Louth

Libby began giving our son extra tutoring in Y11 and for approximately one academic year. Though this was an hour of extra tuition once a week, mainly during term-time, our son found it very useful as this helped him improve from the region of grade 4s/5s in Y10 to 7-9s in Y11. It was very helpful in improving specific aspects of the subject which required more help. It also improved his confidence in the subject. The lessons were online but our son found them similar in quality to in-person lessons. There were a range of different activities, resources and homework. Libby came across, as very organised, evident in term dates and times provided ahead of time and lesson plans for the lessons. She was also professional. I also received feedback, some by request and others from Libby's initiative. I would recommend Libby as a good French tutor if you're looking for tutoring for your child. Mrs D

Libby tutored my daughter before her GCSEs, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is very professional to deal with, knowledgeable about the subject and a great teacher, as well as patient and supportive to the student. She calmly encouraged S and gave her a boost of confidence and skills, which helped her to gain excellent GCSE results. We are so grateful for her and would definitely recommend her to others. Mrs W

Georgia-Mai was fabulous with my daughter. My daughter has autism and needs a kind and caring teacher to lead her through the learning process at her own pace. Georgia did this wonderfully and really brought my daughter out of her shell. Mrs Penbury
Study Skills Tuition in Derby

We found Laura to be an amazing tutor for our daughter who has complex learning needs. We had just started navigating home education and all the trauma that goes with breaking away from conventional schooling. We were also in a very upsetting time for our daughter who was struggling to adjust to a new way of schooling. So when Laura joined and fit in immediately we were all so relieved. We found Laura to be exceptionally patient and kind, very generous with her time (organising trips to the library or educational visits somewhere) which meant a tremendous amount to us. But for our daughter, she did become a firm favourite, and Laura was able to adapt her style of teaching to suit the way our daughter learned. This is so important to engage with a child with SEN, understanding how they learn and understanding when to push and when not to. Laura really went above and beyond to connect with our daughter, and set her up so well for learning in a new environment. We couldnt recommend Laura highly enough, and any child who has her support and tutoring is an exceptionally lucky one. Lucy Wright

Tuition with a qualified Study Skills teacher at your home in Louth costs from £46.00 ph. Online tuition with a qualified Study Skills teacher costs from £40.00 ph. Create your own small tuition group and Study Skills tuition costs from £17.50 ph.

Because we only ever work with qualified and experienced Study Skills teachers in Louth, you will always get a highly experienced teacher who is safe, reliable and up to speed with the current curriculum and exam requirements. There is no excellent learning without excellent teaching, and our Study Skills teachers are expected to teach in a way that inspires and motivates. We have over 20,000 talented teachers providing tuition, chosen for their broad range of experience, professionalism, academic specialisms, passion, and dedication to their students. We only ever offer qualified teachers as tutors, as we believe professional teachers provide the highest quality of tuition.

Location
Home Tuition: Involves a Study Skills tutor coming to your home in Louth to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the Study Skills tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the Study Skills tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the Study Skills tutor is required to travel to your home, in Louth. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your Study Skills tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your Study Skills tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of Study Skills tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group Study Skills tuition in Louth depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
