As a teacher of languages, I have had a privileged career as I have taught in a range of schools. Although the majority of my career was as Head of Spanish / Second MFL at a Girl's Selective School teaching French and Spanish to A-Level, I have taught in non-selective schools and more recently after retiring from working full-time I have been teaching Reception, KS1 and 2 Spanish and French at Lincoln Minster for the past two years. I have a wealth of expertise and knowledge and am familiar with AQA examination requirements for GCSE and A-Level French and Spanish. I teach to the highest standard and plan my lessons to meet the needs of every student so that they can achieve their potential and enjoy the learning experience.

Mrs Walter has been a breath of fresh air. Mrs Walter has been tutoring my twin 8-year-old girls for two years now; both of my girls started with little confidence and were reluctant to join in the sessions. Within a matter of weeks, they were fully engaged and asked when the next sessions would be. We are so grateful that Mrs Walter has provided our girls with a safe, nurturing and happy space to enjoy learning, with bespoke lessons suited to their needs they have come on in leaps and bounds with this extra support. I would highly recommend Mrs Walter to anyone who feels their child may need some extra support from a super smiley and warming tutor. Rebecc Wharton

Sarah is a very knowledgeable teacher, who can put a shy student at ease very quickly. My daughter started her weekly course with Sarah from Year 10 for GCSE French. We really appreciate the in-person tuition on writing, oral and listening French. My daughter has gained a lot of confidence and ability due to Sarah's great teaching. Her predicated grade for GCSE is 9 thanks to Sarah. Mrs Fu

Libby began giving our son extra tutoring in Y11 and for approximately one academic year. Though this was an hour of extra tuition once a week, mainly during term-time, our son found it very useful as this helped him improve from the region of grade 4s/5s in Y10 to 7-9s in Y11. It was very helpful in improving specific aspects of the subject which required more help. It also improved his confidence in the subject. The lessons were online but our son found them similar in quality to in-person lessons. There were a range of different activities, resources and homework. Libby came across, as very organised, evident in term dates and times provided ahead of time and lesson plans for the lessons. She was also professional. I also received feedback, some by request and others from Libby's initiative. I would recommend Libby as a good French tutor if you're looking for tutoring for your child. Mrs D

Libby tutored my daughter before her GCSEs, and I can't recommend her highly enough! She is very professional to deal with, knowledgeable about the subject and a great teacher, as well as patient and supportive to the student. She calmly encouraged S and gave her a boost of confidence and skills, which helped her to gain excellent GCSE results. We are so grateful for her and would definitely recommend her to others. Mrs W

Because we only ever work with qualified and experienced French teachers in Skegness, you will always get a highly experienced teacher who is safe, reliable and up to speed with the current curriculum and exam requirements. There is no excellent learning without excellent teaching, and our French teachers are expected to teach in a way that inspires and motivates. We have over 20,000 talented teachers providing tuition, chosen for their broad range of experience, professionalism, academic specialisms, passion, and dedication to their students. We only ever offer qualified teachers as tutors, as we believe professional teachers provide the highest quality of tuition.

Location
Home Tuition: Involves a French tutor coming to your home in Skegness to provide one-on-one instruction. This offers convenience as you don't need to travel. Online Tuition: This can take place anywhere with an internet connection. Small Group Tuition: Typically with between 2 to 4 children, and often occurs in a physical location such as your home, though it can also be online.

Individual Attention
Home Tuition: Offers the highest level of individual attention, as the French tutor focuses solely on one student. Online Tuition: Still allows for one-to-one attention, but it may be slightly less personal than home tuition due to potential distractions. Small Group Tuition: Offers less individual attention as the French tutor must divide their time and attention among multiple students.

Cost
Home Tuition: This tends to be more expensive because it involves one-on-one teaching, and the French tutor is required to travel to your home, in Skegness. Online Tuition: Often more affordable than home tuition as your French tutor does not need to travel but may still cost more than small group tuition. Small Group Tuition: Generally, this is the most cost-effective option, as the costs are shared among several families.

Flexibility
Home Tuition: Offers flexibility in terms of scheduling and curriculum, as your French tutor will only be working with your child. Online Tuition: Provides flexibility in terms of location and may offer a wider selection of French tutors. Small Group Tuition: Lessons will be more difficult to schedule as lesson times will have to fit in with other families.

Interaction
Home Tuition: Offers in-person interaction, which can be beneficial for students who learn better through face-to-face communication. Online Tuition: Provides interaction through video conferencing tools and chat, which can be engaging but may not suit everyone's learning style. Small Group Tuition: Allows for peer interaction, which can benefit collaborative learning and discussions.

The choice between home, online, or small group French tuition in Skegness depends on your preferences, budget, and the student's specific educational needs. Each option has advantages and disadvantages, so it's essential to consider these factors when deciding.
