How are Warwick schools performing?

We connect you to the best teachers who work across several of the best primary and secondary schools in Warwick (some detailed below). This means we can reliably provide you with a local and experienced tutor that fits your needs.

Warwick primary school performance:

The Warwick area has 36 primary schools (one of the top being St Peter's Catholic Primary School with 33% of pupils achieving at a higher standard).

From their latest Oftsed report:
“This is a good school. The ethos for learning is extremely good and reflects the Christian and family values that permeate the whole school. The attainment of pupils is above average and rising. In reading and mathematics, attainment is particularly high. Pupils speak well and their writing is frequently detailed and expressive. However, spelling is often inaccurate due to carelessness, and untidy handwriting masks the high quality and detail of what is written. Pupils' progress is good and steadily improving, though more slowly in writing than in other areas.”

The Warwick local authority has an average of 66% of students meeting the expected standards in reading, writing, and maths at primary school age (vs England's average of 65%). And has an average of 11% achieving higher standard (vs England's average of 11%).

Warwick secondary school performance:

The Warwick area has 14 secondary schools (one of the top being Aylesford School Warwick with 49% of pupils achieving grade 5 or above in English and Maths GCSEs).

From their latest Oftsed report:
“Pupils’ outcomes in the secondary phase are good. In 2017, pupils’ progress by the end of key stage 4 was at the national average. Current secondary pupils are making strong progress in a wide range of subjects.”

The Warwick local authority has an average of 50% of students achieving grade 5 or above in English and Maths GCSEs (vs England's average of 43%). And has an average of 96% of students either staying in education or entering employment after GCSEs (vs England's average of 94%).

Warwick Ofsted ratings:

72% of Warwick schools have received at least a 'Good' Ofsted rating, with 4 schools receiving an 'Outstanding' rating in their last evaluation.
